It is true Big Picture and Ella Publishing are joining forces

Ellaandbpc logo

I am thrilled because as many of you know I have been working for both companies for quite some time and this consolidation will make my life much easier and more fun!!

From the official release, you can read the press release here

Big Picture Classes can now add “publisher” to its educational resume! We’re thrilled to announce that
Ella Publishing Co., home of top-quality eBooks for scrapbookers and crafters, is now a part of the Big
Picture Classes family.

Even more exciting is the reunion of the visionary team that brought the world Simple Scrapbooks
magazine (2002-2009). Stacy Julian, Angie Lucas, Wendy Smedley, and Cathy Zielske are back together
under one umbrella—along with the other valued staff members of both companies.

So what now? More fun and exciting announcments are planned for inside the Big Idea Festival (you can still join and it is free) I get to share a special announcement on September 9, so be sure and stay tuned!

Note: This big news is first being revealed to the public inside our annual Big Idea Festival, which starts
September 4, 2012. We invite you to register for this FREE, 14-day online festival
(http://www.bigpictureclasses.com/summerfun12.php) so you’ll be the first to hear three more big
announcements to be revealed on September 9, September 12, and September 17.

Welcome home Taylor!!

Familylifebanner

Wow, I have been immersed in family life completely! It is so wonderful to have Taylor home. I cann't describe the emotions, other than to say I am so PROUD of him!! I have taken a handful of photos that you can see below. As for what we are doing now,  he is getting ready to start school in the fall, watching movies from the last two years, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing.

Here is a video of Taylor seeing Tiger (his cute pet dog) for the first time.

As a way of documenting and celebrating the countdown until Taylor returns I have been sharing some photos, layouts, and memories of Tay. As I have been looking at stuff I created I thought it would be fun to share some favorite boy pages. (not just about Tay)

Countdown to Taylor: 7 days to go

Familylifebanner

Taylor has always been drawn to art and culture. We have that in common, of course. He has gotten to

meet people from so many different countries and has been able to get a taste of many different cultures while serving as a full-time missionary. I can't wait to learn all about these experinces. I can hardly wait at all, in fact I can't sleep I am so excited!!

My oldest son has been serving a LDS mission since July 28, 2010 and that means we have NOT SEEN him since then. We have stayed in touch with weekly letters and a  handful of phone calls. I am unable to articulate how EXCITED I am to see him!!!! In preparation I am writing and sharing some favorite photos and stories of him. (Hey I am a scrapbooker)
